Lecture on Expert Evidence
On 7 May 2016, the ADC-ICTY hosted a lecture by Mark MacDonald, a criminal defence barrister in Mansfield Chambers in London. The topic covered was Expert Evidence in Criminal Proceedings in the UK, US and international courts.
Mark has been practicing in criminal defence for the last 20 years and has considerable experience in the use of expert evidence in criminal trials. Mark is the founder and Director of the London Innocence Project and has spent many years working on miscarriages of justices both in the UK and in the US where he has been involved in assisting inmates on death row. He is currently the Chairman of Lincoln’s Inn Bar Representation Committee.
